Q: What is your fee for preparing tax returns?
A: Everyone’s situation is different, so the preparation fee will depend from person to person. Our rates are very competitive, and we will often review prior returns, make suggestions, or also discuss any financial concerns for free! Call or email us to schedule an appointment.
Q: Where can I find more about you? Do you have a newsletter or brochure?

A: You can call or email us if you want us to send a menu of our services or if you have any specific questions. We will be happy to set up appointments to discuss your personal inquiries at no charge.

Q: What is your Privacy Policy?

A: We do not collect any information from you through this website other than your e-mail address when you send us a message. We will only use your information for correspondence between Ken  Palmer CPA and you. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer any information you provide us with to outside parties.

Q: I'm not sure if my previous tax preparer did a good job. Can you help me?

A: We will gladly take a look at your past tax returns for free if you need a second opinion. If we find any errors or any way we can get you a bigger refund, we’re happy to help you file an amended return. You have 3 years to fix prior tax returns.

Q: When is my tax return due?
A: Individual tax returns are due on April 15th while corporate tax returns are due March 15th. If the 15th lands on a weekend or holiday, the due date is the next business day. Extensions are due six months after the normal due date (October 15th for individual, September 15th for corporate).
Q: I need an extension! What do I do?
A: We file extensions automatically for our existing clients. If you are a new client, give us a call and we will help you with your extension. We will need your name, Social Security Number, birth date, address, and number.
Q: When will I get my refund?
A: If your return was e-filed, you will generally receive your refund in 10-21 business days. If your return was mailed, you will receive your refund in 8-10 weeks. Note: if you owe money for child support, a student loan, or to the county or state, your refund may be sent directly to those specific agencies. You should receive a letter if this was the case.
